Saturday 8am “Coffee Runs” are simply come-as-you-are get-togethers for runners/ joggers/ walkers of all speeds & experience levels. They are a great way to kick off the weekend – enjoy the fresh air with other “early birds” and get your heart working. Bring yourself (and a buddy?), and just show up at 8am at Mathews YMCA parking lot. You will be glad you did.

The “Little Sue” route, 5.0 miles: depart Mathews YMCA parking lot to the left and head West on Route 198. After 1.5 miles turn left at “Little Sue” convenience store/ gas station onto Route 14. Turn left onto Church Road and follow to Main Street Mathews. Turn left onto Main Street and follow Route 198 back to Mathews YMCA.
Lovers Lane route, 3.25 miles – exit Mathews YMCA and head left away from town on Route 198. Take the right at Pine Hall Road (at Linda’s Diner), then right onto Lovers Lane. Follow Lovers Lane until it becomes Old Bay Road (gravel road) to the Stop Sign. Turn left onto Pine Hall Road and follow that to the Stop Sign. Turn left and head back onto Route 198 back to Mathews YMCA.
“Main Street Mathews” route, 3.45 miles – exit Mathews YMCA to the left and head West on Route 198, then turn left on Glebe Rd. After one mile turn left onto Church Road and follow it to Main Street (Richardsons Restaurant on the corner). Turn left and follow Main Street to Stop Sign and turn left again onto Route 198 West, ending back at Mathews YMCA.
