What is a Micro Triathlon?
Micro Tris have same “swim, bike, run” components with shorter distances for each leg than traditional triathlons.
1/4 mile swim — 8 mile bike — 2 mile run
Ideal for first time & beginner triathletes to get accustomed to the multiple disciplines with a smaller group and shorter distances. Also very beneficial for experienced triathletes: great practice for transitions – often the least practiced of all segments of triathlons.
